The All Blacks soundly beat the Wallabies 57 -22 at Eden Park to once again retain the Bledisloe Cup.

Rieko Ioane opened the scoring early on against the run of play, nabbing a long range try off an intercept.

The Wallabies hit back in minutes however, with winger Andrew Kellaway collecting a chip kick to dot down in the corner, reducing the margin to 7-5.

It was another long-range effort which saw the All Blacks extend their lead, when Brodie Retallick finished off a slick move to score under the posts in the 24th minute.

A Wallabies penalty closed the gap once more, but almost straight from the restart Ardie Savea powered over for a close range try to make the score 21 -8 after Mounga converted.

With halftime up, McDermott stepped his way through the defence to score under the sticks and bring the Wallabies within striking distance at 21-15.

Only two minutes into the second half Ardie Savea was sin binned with a yellow card as the Wallabies setup camp close to the AB’s try line.

The one-man advantage didn’t help the Aussies though, as after some back and forth play an Aaron Smith break setup Codie Taylor for yet another long-range try.

A converted All Blacks penalty was then quickly followed up by the second intercept try of the night, this time expertly plucked out of the air by Sevu Reece.

At 38-15 the Wallabies quest to keep the Bledisloe alive appeared to be over with 55 minutes on the clock.

Just five minutes later it most certainly was, Codie Taylor skidding across the chalk for his second of the night as the heavens opened up.

Ardie Savea then made up for his yellow card by making a bust and sending Will Jordan over in the corner.

The conversion from Beauden Barrett saw the All Blacks hit 50 points, making the score 50-15 with 13 minutes remaining.

To their credit, the Wallabies didn't give up and Kellaway crossed for his second try in the 70th minute.

Unfortunately for them the All Blacks kept playing as well, Havili scoring after the 80 minutes were up to end the game.

The loss means the Wallabies still haven't won at Eden Park since 1986.
